Overview of Facility Management [-]
The Facility Management Module of ISMS maintains the files containing the information on your facility, and the facilities of external organizations with which you do business. These files serve as the source of external organization information for use by other modules of ISMS. Typically, your organization's relationships with external organizations can be described by at least one of the following:
  • Classified material is sent to and received from them
  • They originate classified material
  • Incoming visitors are associated with them
  • Outgoing visits are to them
  • Your personnel clearances are sent to them
  • Contracts are issued to or received from them
Throughout ISMS, all organizational entries are validated against the Facility Management files. These files are used for facility descriptive information, addresses, clearances, points of contact, and for validating the acronym of the organization that is used in all ISMS modules.

Multiple Addresses [-]
Many organizations have a Classified Mailing Address that is different from their physical address, possibly a Post Office Box or a completely separate location. Many organizations also have several locations, each of which share the same CAGE Code and facility clearance. And, within the location, many organizations use different addresses for different functions. The Facility Address function enables you to record these different addresses without having to create a separate facility record. This function also enables you to record Message Addresses and e-mail addresses.
