The Internal Staff Offices function of ISMS maintains the files containing the information on your internal organizational elements.

The Internal Staff Offices file serves as the source of internal organizational information for use by other modules of ISMS. These relationships are described by at least one of the following:

• Classified material is charged to them
• Classified material is moved from them
• Classified material is originated by them
• Personnel are assigned as members to them

Throughout ISMS, all internal organizational entries are validated against the Staff Offices files. These files are used for descriptive information, clearance information, member information and for validating the acronym of the staff office which is used in all ISMS modules.
